I usually make my dal into a soup consistency, but have made it thick and scoopable with naan (the frozen stuff from Trader Joe's - yum) on occasion.

I just made a huge pot of this because I was thinking about it from this posting. Now I'm all garlicky and about to head over to the BF's house. Sucks for him!
