weekend in berlin

i was in berlin the last weekend. on friday we saw the fireworks for the 4th of july over the new us embassy. i dont know if they do this every year or just this one because the new embassy was opened that day.

the next day someone beheaded hitler at madame tussauds which opened that weekend too.

but the real reason for me going to berlin was a house warming party of a friend and she asked to dj at her party. it was a fun night and it was really nice seeing the sun rise behind me over the roofs of kreuzberg while we still partied.
but the real higlight was when i crawled into my sleeping bag and noticed something strange in the footarea. there i found a pair of socks, a hoodie and my long lost pink kimya dawson shirt. i really thought it was gone forever. it has been in the sleeping bag for almost a year now. im really looking forward to wear it again...
