DOesn't HAVE to be. I've actually never downloaded a video Podcast before. I don't know if it would be very useful for the gym, although maybe while I'm doing cardio it would be okay.
Also, I'm just interested in hearing which ones everyone else is into.
Coverville - a music show that only plays covers. I've been turned into a bunch of bands because of this.
This american life - The radio show in podcast form
Savage Love Podcast - Dan Savage giving sex/relationship advice
The onion radio news - Short daily satire news bites..
This week in tech (twit) - nerd talk about computers and the tech industry.
There are thousands of podcasts about virtually anything.
What kind of stuff are you into?

We've also got some nifty interviews up with local artists, if you're curious about set design, burlesque, directing, acting, etc. etc.
counterspin, democracy now, and chinese pod. plus some random german and spanish stuff that i'm too tired to listen to.
@extemporaneous: I have to be honest: I don't really follow craft in the media at all. I don't read blogs, listen to/watch shows. I know a lot of people in my knitting groups do, so I could ask around...

I'm kind of a Podcast fiend these days. They entertain me at the gym. Also, now that I'm not driving so much, I'm listening to them while I'm walking around everywhere.
