Explosions in the Sky does ambient Sigur Ros type stuff, there's a free album of theirs called "The Rescue" available for download here:

the fratellis are pretty damn good if you're into their kind of rock/pop-punk. A3 (alabama 3) are a good time too. if you like rock, check out clutch. almost nothing they sing about makes a damn lick of sense, and we like it that way.

@ffs: it tracks all the music you listen to on your computer/ipod and you can chart them, share your playlist with friends, even track which gigs you're going to. (I can't access it from work, so I'm limited in the help I can offer)
