A lot of the time, someone will recommend music to me and I will almost always hate it, or at least only listen to it once before chucking it into my delete bin. Whenever my brother recommends music I end up listening to it repetitively over and over I love it so much. Is it our genetics? Our growing up together? Bare in mind, our music tastes are very dissimilar according to last.fm.

I dunno. Stephen and I used to listen to the same music, exclusively. Then one day he got into some stuff which I thought kinda sucked. He still likes what I like, for the most part. Although he gets tired of hearing the Squirrel Nut Zippers, and I never could.

Probably has something to do with shared experiences growing up. I'm a big believer in the importance of shared experiences. I'm looking for a woman with a lot of shared experiences. Growing up with certain imagery all the time could do that.
