yes. i bought a really cute skirt on impulse yesterday. then got home & realied i have nothing to wear *with* it, much less a place to wear it.

manuel, I used to think the same way. Now I'm trying to change that into instead of buying stuff to only wear at certain times, start actually wearing said stuff more.

I do the opposite. I make up outfits with the plans of wearing them, and then realize I don't actually *own* any of the clothes (example: Polyvore.com)

hot rod, you could just wear suits for the hell of it! I have a friend who does that like all the time. But he's also the type to pull that off.

i never feel this way, because i wear crazy stuff all the time.

I have shiny club shirts for the never that I go to clubs. My dad gave them to me, because apparently my dad is Eurotrash.

@bizzy: well that sounds very summery! you can pair it with any bold colored top and cute flats for day or work, or with pumps for an evening.

@Jas - wow, you always make me feel pathetic! :P I think it's more like, some outfits are fancy so I feel odd just wearing them to...say, the coffee shop. But I'm trying to adjust that attitude. (But the truth is no one really dresses up here, so people always ask what you're doing if you do look nice.)
@le_sacre - This is cocky of me, but sometimes when I see myself naked I think that many people are missing out. Or perhaps a select few.
All the time. I have shirts in my closet that I've only worn once because I only had it for that occasion. So now I don't buy anything unless I know I can wear it more than 5 times.
