I love cilantro!! But, I used to hate it. My love for it came with the new tastebud package I got at age 26.
i used to hate it and i stil hate it
this is why i never really bothered with the whole chef thing i fancied in HS, just same flavours absolutely turn me off....
I'm still waiting on those new tastebuds...
Cilantro AND coriander, whatever you call it, tastes like SOAP
oh god, Cilantro is so delicious. I can't believe there are enough people who hate it strongly enough to make that website worthwhile!
hahaa, I love the Stories section. From the first one:
"Before the early nineteen eighties, Mexican food never had cilantro in it."
YEAH, MEXICANS WERE REALLY QUITE UNFAMILIAR WITH THIS NEW "CILANTRO" PLANT UNTIL THE 80S.
On a date with a girl, she said she was allergic to cilantro and for people allergic to cilantro, it tastes like soap.
I do wonder what that's about, the "cilantro tastes like soap" thing. Why does that happen? I don't think I've heard of anything like that for any other allergies.
It's an enzyme. I can't remember of we (YES. CILANTRO TASTES LIKE SOAP TO ME, YOU ASSHOLES.) either lack or have that effects the flavor.
So many people flip the fuck out when I tell them that I hate the nasty stuff.
God. Preview button.
