The problem is, while travelling alone I mostly take pictures of STUFF but I prefer pictures of peoples, possibly next to or in front of stuff.
I try catching random people in the ege of the frame but the few times I've overtly taken a picture of someone I end up getting talked to in German and I don't understand German.

I do have a mini-tripod and a remote trigger, but the pitures of myself have been sortof lame. This is probably because lacking regular access to a mirror means I shave less and don't realize I've gotten a bit too much sun walking around.

Every day for the past 9 days I've been lugging this camera around, snapping shots that are predominantly generic/boring tourist shots.
I try to get creative but I'm reaching a plateau. Gotta juice up my style. Any ideas?
