Tomorrow. Surgery. Specifically, a full-on hysterectomy. The doctor says this is more serious than even the C-sections I've had. I'm afeared.

You'll be FINE, I'm sure. Good luck! I hope everything goes smoothly and easily and you recover quickly. Nothing sucks more than being in the hospital (though I've only ever been in to visit other people).

Don't worry! My cat had an (ovario)hysterectomy and she's fine! The next day she was hissing and scratching like before, and you will be too!

@no thank you: Adenomyosis. The options are hysterectomy or excruciating, debilitating hormonally-driven abdominal pain for the next 20 years. I've had enough of that after dealing with it for only 1.

I'm never having anothe hysterectomy again for so long as I live.

Also, R. and I have not killed each other yet. (Not even any threats.) Although, there have been some very un-pretty moments - particularly on my part.

Now returning you to your regular, exciting every day lives... and returning myself to a vertical position on the couch.

I am now back in my own home, as this motherhood business kind of demands it. "R" survived the last two weeks more or less in one piece, bless his heart.

Still recovering. Still in pain. Going back to bed now.
