Ok so now that got a Zune, I'm trying to seek out clever podcasts. Recommendations anyone? (ipod vs zune flamewars unwelcome.)

Thanks L, I like his contributions to this american life. I'll give it a listen.
the one about the poodle, on the TV episode, just about killed me. he's hilarious.
i subscribe to all those NPR ones, plus Car Talk, Splendid Table, Robert Reich's commentaries from Marketplace, Sound Opinions, Good Food, the daily 7am news summary, Fair Game, and The Sound of Young America.
I also subscribe to a bunch of ESPN podcasts, a bunch of poker podcasts, a bunch of the TWiT network podcasts, and a couple random ones like a Degrassi podcast and one some former college friends of mine do.
I JUST subscribed to sound opinions. Enjoying it so far. TWiT is an essential part of my Monday morning as well.
Sports just don't matter to me, but sometimes if the right people are talking, i can get into it. LugRadio often talks about software I know nothing about, but the guys talk about it in a way that keeps me interested and wanting to know more.
The Sound of Young America is awesome.
Also check out "Jesse Jordan Go!" on MaxFun. I am an official sponsor of that one!

I LOVES me some npr podcasts, namely Wait Wait Don't Tell Me, This American Life, and Fresh Air. I have been very surprisingly entertained by the open-source software podcast LugRadio. 1UP's "1UP Yours" podcast has been great, too.
