why do boys feel the need to congratulate other boys on their girlfriends? girls don't do that, do they? i sure don't. i say this because one of chris's friends just said i was a 'sexy beast'.

i don't really talk to many girls, but i totally congratulate my guy friends on their girlfriends. of course, i usually do it in jest.
Boys ARE weird.
Although I'm starting to think some of them are truly awesome. On two occasions now, TWO of my boy's friends have wanted to talk to me to say hi (who I haven't met yet) while he was with me.
Both incredibly nice and had such nice things to say about me and him.
Then again, one time we were at this dive bar across the street from his place and he introduced me to the owner and the guy said something along the lines of, "hot catch ya got there" or something. But he used the word "hot" in front of me. Weirdo.
I've heard of girls exhibiting that sort of behavior, yes. Some sort of primal "celebrate the kill" sort of thing, perhaps?
aleigh: oh god, that's terrible! i'd giggle like a nervous wreck if someone said something like that in front of me. chris's friends are all SO nice; one of them had to stay at chris's flat for the past two nights and i brought him beer and made him cakes and tried to tuck him in (he didn't appreciate this though). i know that one of them has said he actively fancies me though, and he's someone who stole one of chris's exes from him, so we both feel a bit odd about that.
I told you that your boy is cute! If I think "well doe" I say it regardless of gender...

Robert says:
she's a beast
Robert says:
you lucky git
Robert says:
well done
this after three of his friends whom i've met, and about 9/10 of friends who have declared it online, have expressed their appreciation for... my aesthetics. ODD.
