Don't be squeamish about tightening the bolts and screws. If you don't get them tight enough, they'll loosen over time. This effect accounts for most cases of IKEA-creak. Keep the tools around too, so you can tighten them up if they do manage to loosen up.

@scurvy- Haha, right now I am in my mom's house in Gettysburg. So the closest Ikea was Baltimore (1 1/2 hours away). When I am in West Chester I am much closer but I wanted my stuff NOW!

I spent 4 hours in Ikea. AMAZING. I didn't buy any furniture, because I am poor and take donations. But I bought all sorts of fun accesories for around my room, random stuff for storage, and a very very cute cover for my down comforter. YAYY!
OH, and heart-shaped ice-cube trays!
