Distance.
A topic that has been discussed many times, but tell me, what is the point of dating if you can't see or touch each other?
I'm away from the boy for 3 1/2 weeks (2 weeks down, 1 1/2 to go!) and I'm going crazy from just that. Phonecalls have never been enough from me.

But it will make ya stronger and you can keep talking as much as you both are free to talk about your days and keep on missing each other. I can't wait until June is over!

This is for work (he is a stained glass technician) and being sent to FL, so if they finish the huge project early, I get the surprise of his early arrival! I'm crossing the fingers.

I guess the point is that you won't be at that distance forever and the person's a keeper.

David- but what if you're not sure that you're not going to be at that distance forever? (i.e.- Boyfriend wants to go to law school at a yet undecided location, I have to stay here to finish school and then find a job, well, wherever I can get one.)

Jocelyn, what day does he get back? My guy is gone Saturday through likely June 30th. I'm going to do some awesome things to the apartment to surprise him upon return! And hopefully write some new songs too. I love surprising people.

Aleigh, it's technically me who is gone and I come back June 3rd. We've talked in one way or another since I've been gone but now it's away with his friends for the weekend and I haven't heard from him since Friday afternoon! :[ I really just want him to call and say hi, because I don't want to be that girl who calls all the time when he is with his friends. Bah.
