These little guys are taking over.

i've flushed a few down the toilet, but i've let a few stay around due to shear laziness
Don't you have any cats around? Or are they too busy chasing stuff outside to keep your basement bug-free? Our (indoor) cat would be all over that.
@centro- yea, but they are outside during the day and sleep in the barn feedroom at night - none in the house- i need to get a cat or a ferret or something for in here...
@sally - hey there!
well, they are from smaller than a dime size to just a bit bigger than a quarter
omg - being able to see the eyes like that in this picture kinda cracks me up
it seems kinda clumsy to have your eyes like that
(i say that for no real reason- i guess my two eyes on the front of my face look kinda weird to, well, other things...)
i bet a guinea hen would eat spiders.
i would have to move out because guinea hen droppings are not cool
oh man! i totally didn't think about that- hahahaha
i'm dumb.
okay - let's see
let's do like anything from around 1.5 cm to like 4.5 cm
about
hahaha, I get awkwardly large prey over here too. Like, I'll be sitting on the toilet and I'll look over and be all "oh check it out, there is an awkwardly complete spider 9" from me, hey vat is up"
I put my hands in dead people. And that picture makes me want to shriek like a little girl.
God damn it! Why did you post that picture? I'm working in a dark office in the middle of the night that backs unto a warehouse full of bugs. I saw a roach as big as my FIST my first night. And I'm wearing sandals! My toes are crawling with paranoia.
VAT IS UP IS HANGING OUT BEING AWESOOOOMMMMEEEE hey I miss you. You should come hang out in south county all of the time. You should in fact live down here. You should be here forever.
@Pagne: eeesh, i've had that feeling many times. bugs really make me spaz out. yesterday i saw fairly big, many-legged roach type thing scuttle under the dishwasher. haven't seen it since and i hope to god it doesn't come back.
Awww cute. You should keep a whole tank full. Then release them on burglars and that kind of thing.
Wait a hot second... cats are supposed to kill spiders? That's it. John Ritter is fired.

Depends on the cat. If they're outdoor cats, they get plenty of hunting already and probably can't be bothered. If they're indoor cats, particularly young ones, they tend to enjoy some live toys every now and then.
@pagne- omg- i've gone all this time and never knew that your cat was named john ritter. NOW WE HAVE TO MARRY!!!!!

but i've heard that they actually make good pets-
