I need to learn Setswana. Ideas?

I'm pretty sure you can get by on english in botswana. You just need to learn to decipher the local accent, which is probably very thick.
Is English the other official language of Botswana?
Probably can't learn it until you get there.

@Johnny: My plane leaves in 6 weeks. I just wanna learn a little before I go...
@Mme Les P: You are correct; I've been told though that a little Setswana goes a long way. I'm also pretty sure that some of my patients, especially in the rural areas, will not know very much English.
@AArtaud: Wow. You're like my own personal reference librarian! :)
I'm confused - do you have a copy of that CD?
Those sound like great places to start. Thank you!
If you feel like taking a chance, email the professor of an African Languages program at a prestigious university.
i wish i could help you out. I'd say smile and nod, or pay a local to translate for you. I mean, 5 bucks should get you far there right?
Nope, but my library has a copy. I recalled it out of the depository so if you're interested, I can try and copy it. My haxxor skillz are weak, but it might be fairly straightforward. Just my little contribution to your missions of mercy.
When are you leaving?!?!
I am on ****** torrent sites that have ****** things.
*Ahem*

Is this to your liking, little miss?
Well regardless, I'm downloading it for ya and I'll be in the city many times this week, call/txt me and lemme know kiddo.
I know nothing about Setswana but I miss you a million times and I hope you are so good.
Leaving: June 28th. Return: August 30th. Two months! Crazyness!
I start fall classes three days after I get back. That jetlag is gonna be the biggest bitch and a half.
TJ: The Talk Now! sounds lovely!
Also, if they have anything on Marathi, I need to learn that, too. ;)
Let's hang out this week!
Grrrr. Anyway, as I was saying, AArtuad: You are fabulous and waaaay too kind.
mizzchelle: It should come in from the depository tomorrow or Tuesday. I'll see if it can be copied or not. I'm sure it's probably impossible to find in the US.
Hmm, I have some computer lessons on CD, not especially good ones but it oughta do the trick, similar to what tj's got. I think, uh, that girl has them right now. If I deign to see her again, you want me to get 'em for you?
@Miz: Let's make this happen. Message me your schedule, I can move stuff around.

Rosetta Stones don't exist for the languages I need to learn.
