Living by yourself is 90% awesome-as-all-hell, 10% shitty-as-balls.

I like living alone. But, I don't have friends here now. So - be lonely either way - even if I had roommates.
Oh don't get me wrong. I love living alone most of the time. It's just sometimes I need somebody around to physically hear the dumb shit rattling around in my head.
i've gotten used to it.
actually i have a roomie now for the first time in years, but we never see each other, which is fine.
as Neil diamond once sang, i am a solitary man. however i've become all the more social in the past year or so. i might be lonelier were i not so busy...
i do wonder what it'll be like if/when i ever move in w/a sign. other though....(insert shimmery dreamy/'what would that be like?' lines here)
of course, I'm a homebody with no friends anyway. but it sucks when you order a pizza and eat the whole thing because nobody else is around.
@ Johnny squared : People order pizzas not intending to eat the whole thing? Strange.
@ MUPaully : I too understand your predicament but am pretty certain I'd prefer that to living with/suffering other people any day. It looks like when I move back into London it's gonna be most practical financially for me to rent a room rather than a flat and the prospect of having to tolerate and be tolerable to strangers in the place where I live is not a cheery one.
I LOVE living alone. Best. Thing. Ever. When you get bored or lonely or whatnot, LEAVE THE HOUSE. You have friends outside. :)
See, I do have friends outside, but as I live in a college town, and most of my friends are in college, with it being summer, many of them aren't around at all, and the rest are around less frequently. Especially when these bouts hit which is generally in the midnight area.

Like I'm really lonely and bored right now, but none of my friends are around. I don't really feel like gaming, or reading, or doing much of anything other than having human contact. But I'm broke as a joke and can't go to a bar. This sucks.
