I have lots. Paracetamol I bought in Paris on a University trip in 1998, a Have A Nice Day carrier bag from my trip to New York in 2006, hotel soap from New York and Berlin in 2007. There would also be a tiny sword that came in a cocktail I bought in Berlin, but I lost that. Most of my souvenirs are ephemera.
Hence I have masses of crap I need to throw away. Unless I start a museum.

i have a red silk rose that a little old man gave me at a blues club on the south side in chicago when i was 18. it's pretty well and attached to me.

I wonder if I have any object that I fetishize. Most of the material possessions have gotten so pared down to moving and then living out of three suitcases for two years that there isn't much that I revere.
hmm... i guess that would have to be the ceramic coffee mug my dad gave me right before he went into the hospital for heart surgery and had a stroke (he's ok now but it was scary as hell). he made the mug himself and brought it over the night before he went in for the surgery. it's just a mug but i love it because i'm so fucking glad he's alive.
