I woke up to the sound of buzzing in my ear--I hate mosquitos. They are up there on my shit list with roaches and flies, except flies sometimes help to pollinate things.

@DannyP: YES! I hate those, too, big time! I compost so the only way I can avoid this is to take out my green waste to the green bin every day.

And flies like shit! :D

I wonder if flies will take over when all the bees are gone?

Triangles said, (116 days ago)

@andrewjthomas: I was just watching a report on the decline of bees. :( Sad. Even though I'm mad allergic to them, they are one of my favorite insects.

@Manuel: They also like to come into homes when it is hot outside for some respite from the sun!

Fruit flies can breed in kitchen sink drains.. if you notice them in your kitchen, try putting tape over the sink drain for a few days.

@IceOwl: How would I wash my dishes? :|

I don't like gnats or mosquitos. I like ants, as long as they aren't on me or in my house.

Otherwise, I love insects. A lot.

I just killed a spider crawling up the wall near my desk. First time I've seen one in the office the year-plus I've been here.

@Triangles: Yeah, the bee problem is pretty scary and certainly doesn't help the food crisis situation any

The other day at the RUSH concert, there was a swarm of bees terrorizing people in the parking lot.

Triangles said, (116 days ago)

@ginger: RUSH concert? :) And man, last year there was a swarm of wasps that had decided to build two nests right by my backyard. I'm just as allergic to them so had to keep indoors until my landpeeps managed the situation.

Capitalized for emphasis!
