What is the best thing you've ever tasted?

i'll say blackened stuffed flounder i had in the early 90s in new orleans.
Yeah, I was going for food. I seriously still can't get over how good this strawberry shortcake is! It's just made from Bisquick, so it's not like it's even some special secret recipe or anything. Maybe I was just craving it so much that when I finally had some it was more satisfying than I thought it would be.
In Louisville there is a place called Ramsi's Cafe on the World on Bardstown Rd. They serve a Brie Bernadette that is the closest thing to heaven I've ever known.
When I was in New York. Baked mac and cheese with prosciutto. It was heaven. At some fancy diner by our hotel.
The first time I ate sushi, it was octopus. That shit is nasty. The next time was a California roll, a few years later, and I've been hooked for life.
I've been vegetarian for five years now, and sushi was the very last thing to go. It was the only thing I ever really missed.
@sharon: When I was in New York a couple of years ago, I had some mac'n'cheese at a stoop sale in my sister's neighborhood. I'd somehow forgotten all about it, but that was the best thing I'd ever tasted until tonight's strawberry shortcake. Now it's hard to decide which is better! I told the woman who made the mac'n'cheese how it was the best I'd ever tasted, and I'm pretty sure it made her year. She was so happy! I had to walk back a few blocks to go back and tell her, and I'm so glad I did.

I just made strawberry shortcake, and I'm thinking it's quite possibly the very best thing I've ever tasted.
