I'm going to Wheeling/Chicago in a month to hang out with a bunch of crazy Pollocks. Give me some suggestions of things to see around Chicago in order for me to maintain my (somewhat intact) sanity.

Arlington Park for some of the best horse racing in north america at one of the coolest racetracks around.

1. If you like architecture you can take a tour of all the nice prairie school buildings that Chicago has
2. Millennium Park and that huge reflecting statue
3. The Magnificent Mile, The Water Tower, and all the cool shops including Vosges with the bacon chocolate
4. Wieners Circle- Delicious chicago hot dog with attitude..Also that section of Clark is like the hipster hangout of the city
5. Second City
6. Navy Pier

Zywiec is DA BOMB! But if you go to the right places, you can find my favorite piwo: Lech.
The art institute is awesome. Have the polakami take you out for some polska potrawa. There's some awesome theatre. I personally recommend anything by the Lifeline Theatre. They do lots of literary interpretations. The Shedd Aquarium is awesome. All the museums have free days.
