I'm with Pepper. Or rather. He seems like someone fairly smart and fun to hangout with, BUT he also seems to have quite quite shallow taste in women. (Boobs. Seriously. If she's standard Barbie doll hot with big boobs, he's hitting that, except that he prefers brunettes.) And that rather makes me respect him less. :-(

I went and saw him perform right after his first album came out. He was headlining a tour, which is weird because he only had one album - one radio hit, even - and he played that hit as the third song of his set. He then proceeded to tell the crowd that "it doesn't matter when I play that, you'll stick around for the whole thing." I promptly left.
But it's things like this that make him less douchey in my mind.
I remember when this came out!
I really want to bro out with him.
