omg, Savage Steve Holland - my hero! (seriously, along w/ John Hughes, Judd Apatow and Cameron Crowe, that man is a god to me in the realm of original-voiced, funny, quirky, sweet, charming high school/college comedies)
I'm starting to get leery of the Apatow formula. It's getting to the point where comedies don't feature guys who can be cool and funny without being a) morons/misogynists b)successful or c)able to balance their geekdom with living in the "regular" world.
Obviously, I blame all this on Cusack.
You know, I've seen that pizza boxes/deodorant/shirt comment a lot these past few days.
I'm convinced the porn girl is oversimplifying.
Monkey: She probably is; can't totally diss the target audience, y'know?
What's this Uber thing? Great. One more thing for me to join.. sigh ;)
@Art: EXACTLY! I just DM'ed you, check yer email. I'm planning on having an "Ask Dr. Slack" feature once I get going.
@Brad: AND I don't have to take my top off.
@Garak: He. Is. A. DOLL. Like, nicest guy ever. I owe you an email but when we chat in person I'll tell you the whole Savage story.
@CM: She is, definitely, but it's a great quote. Today I wrote about "being yourself" and I *do* think that some people take it to extremes, and her quote sort of covers that.
@nomi: hee hee hee.
@johnny Squared: thanks!
@Slack: Well, I'm coming at it from the angle that a little self-editing, a few social graces and some clean clothes might not be all it takes.

Hm. This seems like a more formalized version of Dear Dr. Slack ... I'm sure I'll be consulting you soon.
