What do you think. We already know we need a Nintendo Wii. But along with that we will either need an XBox 360 or a Playstation 3. Which do you think would be a better purchase?

If you want to play games over the internet with fratboys, get the Xbox 360. If you want a Blu-ray player, get a Playstation.

I too only have a PS3, and have never owned an XBox. It really depends on what you want.

Someone should invent a console that can play all games, that way I don't have to waste money on a million different consoles, and I can just focus on games.

Actually, the PS3 has all the basic hardware required to play Xbox 360, Gamecube, and Wii games, since they've all got PowerPC cores under the hood. None of the others can run PS3 binaries, because PS3 also has cell.

Of course, they won't do this, because it means less money for them.
