Hey guys! Would consider being a house husband?
Replies
i'm already married but maybe me and the wife can be a team...house couple...
I can do my job from home, so this isn't an entirely infeasible notion.
Sure, it would be a good excuse to go all free lance with my writing, and I don't mind doing cleaning and cooking and all that. Actually, if I ever have kids and it's an option, I'd love to be a stay-at-home dad.
If I hadn't bought a house, I would be on the way over there right now!
When my ex and I coached youth lacrosse - we used to talk about the parents we'd deal with on a daily basis and one day it came up that he wanted to be a stay-at-home dad.
When I read this post though - I started thinking about a house that comes with a husband. Like you move into a home and one of the perks is a built in husband. Ha - yea that's the kind of night I'm having. Yay absurdity.
I did everything for you in LA, except the sex, and you even took me out to din din a couple times. so, yes.
I've secretly hoped that one day I could marry a woman who would support me while I became Mr. Mom. I'm so good with kids. It just seems natural.
I always wanted to work on my own projects from home, so that sounds like a good setup to me.
@Sharon, heeheee that would be rad.
@DeepfriedGoodness, that is also a useful asset for a man to have.
@ all the other guys, wow! I am surprised to see so many dudes willing to be house husbands. I thought a lot of men would find it emasculating. I'm excited at the possibility of having a Mr. Mom that will provide my two favorite things, sex and food!
@ Summer: Emaculated?! hells no. I'd love me a sugar momma!
i knew a guy in high school who's honest to god dream was to be a house husband, he did nothing but work out, and take cooking classes, and child development classes, stuff like that.

I work a lot, it can be stressful at times. I need a house husband to make me dinner when I get home, do the laundry, and go for a romp in the sack. I want to keep working, but I wouldn't mind being the sole supporter. Would any of you consider that as a life option?
