This is how I spent my 21st birthday:
-I went out to dinner with my family (and ordered a glass of stout, just because I could.)
-I watched Juno.
-I bought a bottle of wine and a 12 pack of Stella Artois.
-I drank about a glass and a half of wine and fell asleep watching the Colbert Report.

for my 21st birthday i got ditched by my boyfriend and watched old movies on tv. i didn't even have my first legal drink until a month later.

I got phone calls from pretty much everyone I knew being like "WOO IT'S YOUR 21ST BIRTHDAY I BET YOU'RE PARTYING SO HARD" and I was like "No, I'm with my parents, mind if I call you back tomorrow?"

@Beep Beep- That sounds fun to me and I'm 21! For my bday i went out to eat with my mom. I didn't order or buy any booze till 4 weeks after my bday.

i don't get to plan my 21st birthday (i'm 20), my uncle and cousins are planning it for me, as we speak, because i am the youngest cousin and last big drunk blow out.

That's ok, on my 21st it was a weekday and I was working a brutal shift. Went home and had quizno's for dinner followed by a couples glasses of wine and some classic movies ... though my parents sent me flowers which was nice. I guess it wasn't such a big deal b/c I had been legal for two years already ... but as long as you enjoyed your night what does it matter if you partied it up or not?

Happy Birthday!!!! If it helps at all, on my 21st birhday I was moving into my first apartment in phoenix while my family was still in new york, and didnt know anyone at all. I hope you have a great weekend though, dont get too sick!

when I turned legal drinking age I did pretty much the same thing. Twice.
Once with my parents, and once with my boyfriend.
