I started my summer research seminar (ENG 400) yesterday...

The topic is "Elizabeth Graeme Fergusson, William Smith, and the Development of the Print Public Sphere in Eighteenth-Century Pennsylvania."

The prof basically flat-out told us that we were going to be bored out of our minds and going to have a ridiculous amount of work that will be almost impossible to complete in five weeks.

But he also gave us permission to make fun of everything we are assigned to read in class.

I am moving into my new house on Tuesday!

And it turns out I will be there HOURS before the girl who wants the same room that I want.

I am not going to sit around all day and wait for us to negotiate. I am getting that damn room, but what should I tell her when she gets there and all of my stuff is in it?
