I'm up for a great job that openly does internet research of the applicants. Shit.

After catching the stupidity of putting my full name in my blog accidentally about two months ago, I thought I would be fine after deleting my name from the blog since there's not really any other obvious way to find me online. HOWEVER, after double checking on a few search engines the old post with my name in it still shows up and links directly to my blog where I say dirty words and will potentially talk bad about every person and company I work for. It also links to all the other social networking sites I'm on.

Before going overboard and deleting my egocentric blog, I wanted to know if there was a way I could remove the information stored in google (or yahoo or whatever). That can't be there forever if it doesn't really exist anymore, can it?

Roommate Trouble? I can't tell.

A list of things she's done recently in no particular order. It's up to you to decide if this is douchebaggy or not.

She broke the living room light fixture INTO the washing machine. And then I spent the next day picking shards of glass from the washing machine, and by picking I mean sticking my fingers into the washing machine until the glass penetrated my skin. No apology. She ordered a pizza for delivery the size of our refrigerater and then LEFT to go get hot wings at another place. Of course the pizza came and we had to scrounge up money we would normally never have on hand. A $30 pizza. Her friend gave me a twenty but from her? No apology. She invited all these redneck douchey friends over this weekend who are drunk and loud and stupid as hell. They pissed off the people they were planning on staying with all weekend, so they're here drinking my beer. I don't want to explain all the horrible details, but I couldn't get in the bathroom because of one of the douchebags taking a very long shower. I had to pee bad. And well, urges were finally met with the help of a large go-cup. Should I be irritated at her behavior or should I accept that all roommates are like this and just deal? :(

Don't get me wrong, I'm very, very happy he chose a first-term Alaskan governer, former beauty queen. But it's like when your friend sits on nachos and doesn't know it, then spends the rest of the day walking around at the fair with nacho cheese on her ass. You don't know whether to gradually walk further and further away from her in case people think you two are together or if you should let her know she has cheese on her ass and spend the next thirty minutes cleaning her pants with soggy napkins in a sticky bathroom. Does that euphemism make sense? I don't really think so. It conveys that I'm friends with Republicans. But back to the point, she's opposes gay marriage, abortions, and anything that involves the environment. I think it's a longer shot now for McCain to get the votes, but if by the hatred of God himself somehow that happens, you know as soon as McCain and his young, hot VP get the nod, they are drilling the shit out of Alaska. This can't happen.
