I'll start: I bought cheap dog food which gave my dogs diarrhea, and they spurted butt juice all over the carpet, and I'm out of carpet cleaner, and I'm out of paper towels, and I don't even have gas in my truck to go get any. I'm thinking now that bankruptcy is going to be my best bet right now. In the meantime I have until Monday to come up with the $560 something that I owe on the back payments on my truck. Their letters advise me that if I don't they will take "further action" which I can't imagine repossession is too much beyond being a few months late on payments. Has anyone dealt with this before? I have an appointment on Monday at 1 for a "free consultation" with a bankruptcy lawyer who I guess will answer a lot of questions with "when you put our firm on retainer we will figure that out".
