Awesome job interview Fri morning, hot new clothing, playing a show tonight (in-the-round style) in Audubon NJ, my bandmate's getting married on Sat, playing a song shuffle (50 artists, one night) on Fri night as part of the Fringe festival, playing at GreenFest Philly (a huge event greenfestphilly.org) on Sunday, and I now have a card in my wallet and a certficate saying I'm a board certified health professional.

I am constantly viewed as a very optimistic person, but I really do have a dark cloud over my head right now.

I am back in Philadelphia again. It is weird to be back and I was only gone for four days! Then again, I spent most of August outside of the city. I want to live in the country dammit! I want a farm! And a huge garden! and a pig! and lots of grass to roll around in!

Today was the cutest day in the world. While playing at the festival today, I saw a young kid with a fake guitar that lights up and makes noise, and invited him to come up and play a song with me. He ended up staying up there for 20 min or so, and played guitar behind his head, spun on the ground, danced around and he helped bring in a huge crowd. Then he begged his dad to buy my cd. I have a new bandmate! He is 5 years old.

Cyclists: What do you know about padded shorts for long distance rides? Or really good seats? I also eventually want a better bike for long distance rides. I ride a bike my friend built that was supposed to tide me over 'til I could afford a really good one. This suits me fine, but I want more! I ride a single-speed road bike with a cruiser frame-- luckily, good wheels.
